Zane Myers
PIANO TEACHER
Zane Myers studied at The Juilliard School and has served on the college and pre-college faculties of Birmingham-Southern College and the Northridge Community Music School, Los Angeles where he maintained a private studio of students, ages 4-22, and served as an instructor for classroom piano, theory, and ear-training. Mr. Myers’ students have been honors winners in competitions held by the Virginia Music Educators Association, California Music Educators Association, and Music Teachers National Association regional competitions.
Since 2010, Mr. Myers has served as pianist with the Gabrieli Piano Trio, performing at the Festival Napa Valley, Great Lakes Chamber Festival, Colorado-Vail Music Festival, and Festival Mozaic in San Louis Obispo, CA. As a conductor, Mr. Myers has lead performances of Broadway productions of Aida, The Sound of Music, The Fantasticks off-Broadway, and international tours of The Phantom of the Opera in Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, and Denmark. Mr. Myers has appeared as guest conductor with the Indiana Chamber Players, the Florida Chamber Orchestra, and the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, Brighton, U.K. Mr. Myers studied piano with Beveridge Webster – The Juilliard School, Jeaneane Dowis – New York City, and William DeVan – The Aspen Music Festival.
