Vocal Ensemble
Join Music Box School Choir and explore the joy of singing with others! No experience necessary, just a love of singing and desire to express yourself through the music!
The Music Box Children’s Vocal Ensemble gives children from the ages of 7-12 a unique opportunity to develop vocal technique, repertoire, leadership, and musicianship in a fun, inclusive, and dedicated environment. The ensemble meets once a week for one hour where students learn vocal exercises, music theory, and songs of all genres from classical to pop. Each class will begin from vocal exercises and fun warm ups and proceed into learning parts for the songs and combining them. Some songs will have multiple soloists, so everyone will get a chance to shine!
A simple audition is required to gauge the potential student’s current musical abilities and, more importantly, their connection to music and interest in vocal arts. Please contact us to schedule an audition.
About Mr. Nathan Ferraz

Mr. Nathan Ferraz has been a private voice, piano, and violin instructor for more than a decade, has been studying music for more than two decades, and has worked with different children’s and teen's ensembles in that time. In his latest work with the children’s vocal ensemble named “The Explosions”, the students had the opportunity to sing at different events such as a Providence Bruins game, annual Christmas tree lighting events, art exhibitions, and even The City College of New York. A passionate and dedicated teacher and mentor, Nathan’s philosophy is that every child (and human being) has the capacity to develop musical skills no matter at what level they start. His students have gone on to universities for music and theater from Massachusetts to California, and some have even competed in television voice competitions. Please join Mr. Nathan in the inauguration of The Music Box Children’s Vocal Ensemble.
