Asami Tomida

Asami Tomida was born, raised and began dance training in Japan.

 

She trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Gaga. She received her B.A from Nihon University College of Art and worked at Universal Studios Japan in 2009.

 

Asami moved to NYC in 2010 and graduated from Hunter College as a Dance Major in 2013. Tomida worked with such choreographers as Stefanie Batten Bland, Donna Uchizono, Julian Barnet, Yuki Hasegawa and Doug Varone, Samuel Pott and Ray Sullivan, also she worked with Nimbus Dance Work, Miami contemporary dance company and New Century Dance Company.

Sarah Vaughan

   Sarah Vaughan started her dance training when she was 11 years old. She took multiple forms of dance all throughout her training but felt a deep connection with Ballet, Modern and Hip Hop. After graduating High School she continued her education at Nassau Community College majoring in Ballet and Modern Dance Composition. There she was on the Dance team the competed nationally in Hip Hop and Jazz. After College, she began teaching on Long Island at Pats Dance Studio, where she taught children and young adults of all ages and levels. She taught there for the next ten years honing her craft and learning from veteran Teachers. Throughout those years she became a key role in the creative process for annual recital, costume and prop design along with managing the studio.

    Her classes are fun, dynamic, upbeat and offer a light hearted experience as she lets you find the connection in your own bodythrough movement and breath to become in tune to your mind and spirit.

Natasa Trifan

Natasa Trifan is a Modern and Ballet Teacher to professional actors and dancers.

 

She studied classical repertory of Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Don Quixote, Les Sylphides and danced them at the National Opera of Bucharest.

 

Natasa Trifan studied professional ballet at the premiere Romanian Ballet School, Vaganova Method of Ballet.

 

She graduated from SUNY College at Brockport, U.S.A. where she got her Master Degree of Arts in Dance and Movement Therapy/Somatics. (Movement Therapist Certification, U.S.A.)

Also she studied in Academy of Theatrical Arts and Film in Bucharest with a major in teaching ballet and modern dance, Bucharest, Romania where she received her Bachelor Degree.

Hatasa has teaching experience of more than 19 years.

From 1999 to present she teaches Modern and Ballet.

She founded her own dance co in  New York City and her choreography was seen in England, Portugal, Romania, Chile, Russia and in the United States. Her company performed in New York City at venues including the Citicorp Theater at Alvin Ailey Studios, Joan Weill Center of Dance part of International Dance Festival, the Dance Theater, the HERE Theater, the Dance New Amsterdam,t he Flea Theater, Merkin Hall at Kaufman Center, the Theater of The New City.
