We provide PIANO, VIOLIN, GUITAR, VOCAL, DRUM music lessons. MOMMY AND ME, INTRO TO DANCE, BALLET, and HIP HOP DANCE classes as well as ART CLASSES that are designed to ignite creativity and develop technical skills in students of all ages and abilities.

UNLIMITED ONE-ON-ONE MAKE UPS THAT NEVER EXPIRE
Simply give us a 24 hour notice and schedule your make-up lessons at your convenience, and keep progressing without missing a beat!
MONTH-TO-MONTH PAYMENT PLANS
No long-term contracts or commitments! Our month-to-month payment policy gives you the flexibility to enroll on a rolling basis. Pay for one month at a time and continue for as long as you’d like.
STUDENTS' RECITALS
Twice a year we hold students' recitals that are professionally video/ audio recorded and we treat them as holidays!

MUSIC LESSONS
At The Music Box School Staten Island, we are offering personalized music lessons for any age and any level of students. Our Staten Island music instructors are experienced and they provide one on one guidance that is tailored to your goals, regardless of what level of musician you are. We provide lessons for a variety of instruments, from piano, vocal, violin, guitar, drums, and many more; while we focus on building strong fundamentals, we also foster creativity and passion for music. PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS
PIANO LESSONS
The Music Box School in Staten Island caters to students with varying levels of experience. Our piano instructors in Staten Island teach even novices with advanced techniques, music theory, and performance. Lessons are designed to encourage students' creativity while ensuring a solid foundation in music. Students are also given the chance to explore different genres of music which aids in their self-expression through the piano. The relaxed yet engaging atmosphere created by the instructors allows students to set their own pace while achieving necessary milestones. Twice a year, we conduct student recitals that allow students to put on display the skills and talents they have acquired during lessons. The recitals take place on a stunning stage where a Steinway & Sons grand piano is located, which inspires both performers and the audience. The students perform in front of family and friends, which improves their confidence and stage presence.
MUSIC CLASSES FOR KIDS (3-5 y.o.)
In our music classes, we focus on children aged 3 to 5 and aim towards making it appealing and interesting through various activities. Little kids will study rhythm, melody, and other basic music concepts using instruments, songs, and movement. The classes were intended to support younger learners in developing their coordination, listening skills, and love for music while nurturing their creativity with exciting new tools.
ROCK BAND CLASSES
Become a part of our rock band classes at The Music Box School Staten Island where young musicians come together to express themselves! Every session incorporates enjoyable lesson tasks such as learning to play popular rock songs, improvisation, and group jamming that promotes collaboration. Our group music classes aid children in understanding the basics of music including chords, rhythm, and the anatomy of a song! They will be able to learn and play with different instruments which will help in enhancing creativity and collaboration. Each session was designed to be enjoyable and to help young musicians build a solid foundation at an early age. It is the perfect opportunity for children at a young age to discover and polish their musical interests. Students will learn important aspects such as stage manners and writing songs alongside rock music theory.
CHOIR
At The Music Box School Staten Island, we encourage students of all ages to experience the joy of creating music in unison though our unique choir classes. Each singer, no matter their skill level, gets the chance to perform in different genres. Our Staten Island choir lessons teaches students the various vocal techniques and breathing exercises along with teamwork in the every growing choir. Students build friendships, experience the power of music, and improve their voice.
ART CLASSES
DRAWING
Our art classes involve painting which includes an in-depth examination of various techniques and mediums. Students focus on brushwork by learning how to create different textures and effects with various brushes and strokes. The theory of color, light, and composition are taught in relation to how these elements blend and interact to make compelling works of art. Oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting are often categorized with their distinct properties and techniques so students are able to try and select their favorite medium.
DANCE CLASSES
MOMMY AND ME
Mommy and Me classes The Music Box School Staten Island promote parent-baby interaction as they share the floor and explore movement together. Here, the children will be taught the basics of dancing which will involve rhythm, coordination, and choreography.
The sessions are designed with interesting music, creative activities, and fun motor skill tasks to help children build their self-esteem. It is a wonderful opportunity for mothers, fathers, or guardians to relish such priceless moments with their little dancers while dancing and setting their passions.

Yoga Instructor
Nina U is a Yoga Teacher based in New York City. She has over 40 years of teaching experience, which includes 30 years in preschool teaching. She has developed a love for yoga about ten years ago and trained for 400 hours with the Integral Yoga Institute and Bernie Clark International.
She currently teaches at JCC, YMCA, Shakti Yoga Center, along with many private clients. Nina has a goal of always bringing forth the best out of the children and aims to achieve this by using upbeat and energetic classes.
