Maria Park
PIANO TEACHER
Maria Park, a passionate piano educator and performer, was born in 1992 in Seoul, South Korea. She has participated in master classes with world-renowned pianists such as Jonathan Feldman, Victor Rosenbaum, Asaf Zohar, Haesun Baik, Nina Lelchuk, Massimiliano Ferrati, and Alexander Korbin. Ms. Maria has also attended prestigious international music festivals, including the International Keyboard Institute Festival in New York and Forum Musikae in Madrid, Spain.
Ms. Maria has studied chamber music under Jon Klibonoff and harpsichord with Jocelyn Stewart. She was the last student of Zenon Fishbein, a distinguished professor at Manhattan School of Music for 52 years, who once praised her as “the most talented person I’ve seen in my teaching life.”
As a pianist, Ms. Maria has performed in major concert venues across the world, including Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, South Korea (Seoul Arts Center, Youngsan Art Hall, Mozart Hall, Anyang Art Hall, Ewon Culture Center), and the United States (Greenfield Hall, Pforzheimer Hall, Alfred Lerner Hall, John Jay Hall). She completed her undergraduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree.
As an experienced piano teacher, Ms. Maria is dedicated to helping students improve their piano technique and musicianship through structured lessons. She focuses on tension release and foundational techniques to help students develop their own unique sound. Ms. Maria works with students of all ages and skill levels, guiding them to grow as confident pianists. She is currently teaching at Music Box School, where she inspires students to achieve excellence in piano performance.
