James Labrosse, a dedicated guitar teacher, piano teacher, and drums teacher at Music Box School, grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he was exposed to a rich blend of cultures, music, and languages. His passion for music led him to Andalucia, Spain, where he studied Flamenco guitar for three years. He later attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, earning a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production.
James draws inspiration from a wide range of musical influences, including Paco de Lucía, Jobim, Led Zeppelin, and Erkan Oğur. As a performer, he has played alongside renowned artists such as Antonio Serrano, La Shica, and Mirella Cesa. Now based in New York City, he dedicates his time to music production, live performances, and teaching music.
